This is an application for the amateur talent competition event “St Albans Got Talent 2016”.

The Director / Producers’ decisions regarding all elements of the application process and the Programme shall be final and binding. Applications are to be made online at www.statalent.co.uk.

 

Online applications for each individual venue will close 1 day prior to the St Albans Got Talent Team arrival to the Venue in question. The Director / Producer may in their sole discretion include additional methods of application at any time.

We cannot guarantee that all applicants will receive a response if an application has not been received within the allocated dates.

Each Applicant or Group Member, is to provide a one off payment of £ 5.00 per person. Group acts with 4 or more participants will be required to pay a minimum donation of £20.00. Audience members a minimum donation of £1.00 per person.

 

If you are under 18 years of age this application form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If you are entering as a group, each member of the group must apply online along with a parent/guardian where appropriate) to confirm you have read the terms and conditions for the St Albans Got Talent event 2016. Children under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent / guardian present through out of the event.

 

Applicants will be selected at the sole discretion of the Judges on the day of the event, The Finals will be calculated based on St Albans Got Talent Social Media Coverage. Voting will consist of Face Book Page St Albans Got Talent and the Web Site www.statalent.co.uk this will then be included to the final scores as the Act Group goes through each heat.  The Casting Vote will remain with the judges at the Grand Finals

 

The Wild Card, is based on Audience Participation, the card is completed by the audience member when an act is not put through, the audience member completes the card with their favourite act and the cards collected with the most for that Act will go through to the heat. The Wild Card is judged solely based on the votes from the audience and will be published via Social Media sites.

 

You must be Resident, Employed or in full time Education in the St Albans (AL) Postal Area. You must be AT LEAST 7 YEARS OLD ON 4th April 2016. You will provide the Producer with supporting documentation in order to substantiate this (i.e. birth certificate and/or valid passport if deemed necessary).

 

Your performance must not contain any sexual, abusive, violent or raciest content what so ever. If the act or group is in breach of this rule your act will be stopped, and you will be instantly disqualified and be asked to leave the venue.

 

All personal details and/or information given in your application either in this form or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. The Producer reserves the right to disqualify you (and/or where appropriate your group) if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the Rules and/or are in breach of the terms hereof. The information given by you in this form may be used in the Finals should you be selected.

 

You will not, without the Producers prior written consent, publicise or discuss with any 3rd party any information relating to the Application, or the production of the St Albans Got Talent events or heats.

 

You must disclose to the Producer details of any/all criminal/civil actions pending against you currently and/or served against you and/or any unspent convictions other than a traffic conviction.

 

Under data protection act personal information will not be disclosed to a third party other than promotional material to publish the event.

 

Terms and conditions as at The Designated Venue for each region also apply. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and the programme recruitment terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall apply.

The Director / Producer, their agents and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any online applications, telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any messages or applications not being properly received, heard or recorded.

 

The completion of an application does not guarantee that an applicant will receive an audition or participate in the Programme or Finals. All applicants attending the audition at the selected date at the The Designated Venue for each region, is at the sole discretion of the Director / Producer whose decision will be final and binding.

 

In the event that you attend the auditions you hereby irrevocably grant all consents necessary for the Director / Producer to film and record such audition and to use recordings featuring your image and/or voice in connection with the show and/or ancillary rights in the show and to exploit the same in all media throughout the world in perpetuity without the need for payment to you. You acknowledge that you understand the style, nature and format of the show and that we reserve the right to show all auditions whether successful or unsuccessful.

 

Should you be selected to take part in “St Albans Got Talent” Quarter Finals, Semi or Finals you agree and undertake to enter into further contracts with the Director / Producer and you agree to abide by the terms therein if required.

 

The Winners of St Albans Talent 2016 will appear in the public domain by the request of the Director / Producer on the dates requested. You will be required to be at social events advertising for and on behalf of St Albans Got Talent and will be required to attend the annual Christmas Light Switch on, where a performance will be required. All contestants may be asked to appear or perform at local events so are advised to ensure they are available for at least six months after the final.

 

St Albans Got Talent Are Fund Raisers for the community by the people of the community, we are a non-profit organization, volunteers from the community make each event successful. All proceeds for the St Albans Got Talent 2016 event will benefit the St Albans Town Hall Art Gallery and Museum restoration project.

 

You acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules regulations terms and conditions for this competition and that the Rules may be subject to changed (including without limitation verbally) at any time by the Director / Producers discretions and that you will be bound by such Rules.

 

The Director / Producer’s decisions shall be final.
